Leaders Debate (English) LIVE on CBC
Thursday, October 2nd, 2008, 6pm - 8pm

Join Canadians Abroad on October 2nd at Redondo Beach Café for the Canadian Leader's Debate. We will watch the CBC coverage of the event on HD TVs starting at 6 PM when the debate will begin.

The English-language Leader's Debate will be held at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa and moderated by Steve Paikin of TVO. The following Party Leaders will appear in the debates: Prime Minister Stephen Harper of the Conservative Party of Canada, Leader of the Opposition Stephane Dion of the Liberal Party, Jack Layton of the New Democratic Party and Gilles Duceppe of the Bloc Quebecois. The French language Debate will be held a day earlier on Wednesday October 1st from 8 to 10 pm EDT, moderated by journalist Stephan Bureau.
